I'm afraid nothing seriously interesting has happened to me this week, which can be nice as well ;) To me this just means things are normalising, adjusting to my life here :) Just to let you know I'm still alive here are some interesting things I found on my travels through Tokyo!

Found this in a random 'outlet' store that used to be a diner (and they still have the grimey kitchen as storage place - there's windows)

I also went to the hairdresser, which is always an experience in Japan. I got the full treatment, it was great! First they washed my hair and did a little head massage, then cut my hair, checking with me they didn't do anything I didn't like (have had experiences in holland where they chopped lots of where I didn't want them to :( ) Anyway, that was great, then they rinsed my hair again to get rid of all the loose hairs (they should totally introduce that in holland!) and then she blow-dried my hair (all included in the ' cut' price!) and made it look all perfect by snipping a few bits here and there. It was all finished off with another head/neck/shoulder massage before I was pleasantly sent on my way.
Coming week:
- Verhagen in Japan; my part in his visit is rather unspectacular.
- Going to Australia; leaving wednesday, be back monday. So my next post will be next week! (unless something spectacular happens with Verhagen's visit).
