success!

Fourteen minutes and fifty-nine seconds into our fifteen minutes of fame
When the luck runs out, I won't wonder who's to blame
Because nobody said they had a guaranteed way
to win the hearts of the public who are easily swayed

Yayyy Jennifer is feeling better! :D So much to tell! I'll just start at the beginning then (wow isn't that a good idea ;) ) anyway.... So yesterday I had class (really!? yes really). First I had the early Kanji class, got the results back for the test we did last week, did well, don't understand how she scored the test but hey, it's all good. After that I had a class called Enshuu with Nagai-sensei, who is fun, but also very strict. For her class we also had a short test which was supposed to be really easy but really wasn't. It was a question of not learning the right thing because we didn't really know what we were supposed to know (just the meanings of the word, the kanji, or just the readings etc.) but next time I should do much better, now that I know ;).

In the evening the girls and I suddenly had a craving for cookie dough and cookies. SO off we went to the supermarket to buy flower and stuff, and we made a realllyyy yummy big chocolate chip cookie. Seriously good stuff!!!! After that it was time to go to Baard again. We like to go on tuesday nights because it sort of gives a break in the middle of the week, do something fun you know, and then on wednesdays I don't have class until 2:30 in the afternoon, so we can sleep in a little. I decided to ask Kenji along again, thought it might be fun to also have someone outside of the group to go along, and boy was that a good idea! First of all he was really happy we had invited him and on top of that it turned out he had never been there!! I had assumed that as he was the tutor of one of the Dutch people last year that they would have taken him there at some point, but he had never heard of it. He thought the place was really cool though and he kept thanking us for inviting him, so good move on my part, yayy!! It was nice to have a chat in Japanese with him, it's becoming easier. Not just the Japanese in general, but talking to Kenji as well. Apparently I remind him a little of his twin (!!!) sister, Mikki (Miki?). So that was cool. I mean, I guess it's a good thing, right!? haha. Anyway, it ALSO turns out that our birthdays are on exactly the same day!! How weird is that!? So he's exactly a year older than I am. That was really funny. Nonoka gave us a good laugh too because as it was Halloween, she was dressed up in this cat suit thing and acting like a cat too. She would crawl all over us, especially Gerrie haha. Whatever he did, he couldn't get rid of her. The best part was that she started stroking his head too, like we all do, because his hair is so soft. Really, you should have seen his face when she did that too. It's a universal thing, when you get to know Gerrie, you have to at least once stroke his hair. I finally made contact with her too, she has gotten over her shyness of the horribly scary Dutch girls. Or maybe because it was Halloween we didn't seem that scary compared to all the monsters...

We stayed at Baard's until late and so as we were the last one's there he took us home by car. My dad asked me today why this guy is so nice, and he has a point. I don't know really. I mean, he seems to really enjoy hanging out with us, and he is so much fun, his whole family is, they really are very nice. And as long as nothing weird happens, I'm cool with it! He is even going to take us to his hometown sometime soon, is supposed to be reallly pretty. They guys have been already, so I can't wait!!

On the planning tonight is another trip to Baard's, this time with some Japanese girls who were friends with the people who were here last year, but maybe we won't make it as late tonight. It promises to be lots of fun anyway, and so you guys will hear all about it soon!

Hope you are all doing well,

love, ME!

ps: there are 2 new movies uploaded made at the junior highschool thing, not majorly interesting, but you could look if you wanted... and of course pictures of last night will be online within 10 minutes or so, so basically I could say that they are online!!
