Good morning!
I had quite a day yesterday, so thought I'd tell you about it before I forget half of it and then write a half-assed post that no one reads anyway. Oh wait, regardless, no one reads this. Oh well!
Yesterday started off with a little bit of homework, but that of course is not the interesting part. In the early afternoon I went off to meet Mrs. Yamashita, a lady from taiko, and Gerrie because she was going to take us on a tour of Nagasaki. I thought she had meant the city, but apparently she meant the PREFECTURE. And I had arranged to be somewhere else in the evening, so I really ruined her plans. Sorry! So we did a mini-trip instead.

We visited various old school's of hers, saw the books she read about Anne Frank in the local library (she's a bit obsessed with Anne Frank - in a non-harmful way) and saw very spectacular views. I was sort of sitting on the wrong side of the car, making taking pictures a little hard, but I did my best! We did get out a few times too, so took pictures then. The trip was cut short because of me having to return... for Kento's concert!!
I've seen Kento's band (Off Limits) play twice already, but this time he got to play in an official concert hall where professional bands get to play and stuff. There were 5 bands playing, and the whole mini-festival,

aptly named "chain reaction" was organised by 'exa' a band in which a girl I know plays, so that was kind of cool. Well, I met her last thursday, wouldn't really say I KNOW know her, but hey, for the sake of coolness, I know her. 4 out of 5 bands were really really fun. There was this one band, the "The Bright Bellringer", without the most arrogant lead singer I've ever seen. He was terrible.

Not necessarily his singing, but his ways. He was seriously full of himself, and they weren't even that good. I stood next to him for the rest of the evening after they were done playing by the way, and he has ugly shoes. HA!
The first band had been a very funky jazz band however, very fun, and after mr. I'm so good came Kento's band, who did an awesome job!! He had been really nervous before hand, but it didn't show!

Next up was the band Octopus. Maarten had already seen them before and seemed to be a little bit of a fan. Turns out he had good reason to be! Not just the music, but the lead-singer wasn't so bad looking haha. And they just did a really cool show, very involved, energetic, incredibly fun to see. They've got a new fan here!!

The night was topped off by exa themselves. I was a little less impressed with them. Their music was good, it's just too bad the gir's voice was a little unsteady. I mean, I'd never do a better job than she does, but her voice just isn't right. She made it up with all the energy she put into her show though! So overall still an enjoyable band, unlike mr bright bellringer (where dó they get these names ANYWAY).
I had a really good time at the concert, it really was a lot of fun!! Today, however, is back to homework homework homework. Off I go!!! (wish me luck?)

That concert sounds like a lot of fun!
Good luck with your report :P
Hey Jenn!
I hope Asuka won't google herself, because if she reads this (yes she speaks English, lived in Australia), then we won't be her friend anymore.
That doesn't mean you're not right about her voice
It's a good thing you can't google my blog ;) But I have toned it down a little bit anyway, in case anyone is in a mean mood and decides to give her this link :)
Haha,
good adjustment!
