Good afternoon everyone!
First of all, I've added the missing part to my blog, it's called Nagasaki part 3, it's at the bottom of the ' Nagasaki' post. Take a look if you dare!
I'm going to upload some more pictures in a minute if I have time. Though I think I do as I didn't get to meet my tutor today :( Ohhhh and I added descriptions, go look!
This morning we had to be at the uni at 9 am to meet our tutors. Of the 10, 3 showed up. Mine wasn't there, but I know his name: Kyouda Kenji, so his first name is Kenji. We then took the tram to city hall to register for our ' Alien Registration card', a very important document for foreigners in Japan. I also decided to apply for a Japanese bank account. I don't know if I'll really use it yet though. I haven't opened a bank account, just applied for a document that allows me to open one. The thing is I want to buy a cell phone. There is 1 type of prepaid available, but it's not sure whether you can send or receive messages from abroad using a phone like that, and I would like to have just that. So then I'd have to get a subscription phone, so pay monthly. That also means more paper work, and having to cancel it on time and everything. It is supposed to be cheaper, but I'd have to go ask at a phone shop. Anyway, that's for later.
After we were done at the city hall we went to have lunch in a little park near the harbour. It was really really nice! I'll have to upload the pictures later though. We had to be back at the uni at 1 o' clock to hopefully meet the rest of the tutors. The problem is they all have class as well, so it wasn't possible to get them all there. I think in the end there were 6 tutors, and mine wasn't one of them. So now most of the tutor pairs are off having a chat and making appointments to meet up this weekend for a big Nagasaki festival, called the 'kunchi matsuri'. I now don't know if I'm supposed to contact Kenji or if he's going to contact me... Not that it's possible, I don't have a phone haha. Oh well, anyways. I'm going to upload some pictures now, just a few, sorry, but at least you have something to look at! And maybe I'll edit some of my posts to include the pictures in the post so that it's clearer. But no guarantees ;)
Til next time then, and once again, thank you all for your messages, good to know people do actually read this shit ;)
love,
Jennifer

Jo, good morning Jenn, it's funny to read your blog so early in the morning instead of lameass news paper or nerdish slashdot :-).
Nice camera & pictures you have there. Damn, can't keep my eyes of that van-o pics :p
Jeweettoch, Thijs
OK, room looks utilitarian to say the least, but I'm sure you can make it nice! Notice the picture from your book has found a new home!!!!! You look very pretty in your new blouse and I bet that beer tasted good! Let me know when you've found a koi carp with a Union Jack on his head! Hope Kyooda-sensei had a VERY good reason for deserting you.
Damn Jenn to much stories, not that I don't enjoy reading them
:-). I'm loving the pictures, keep posting them. especially the one where everybody is looking at something and Ruben is like, I don't care haha. Btw is Ruben already "playing" the Japanese girls?(took him long enough haha).
bye bye daan
Does that Kenji accidently know any Frank from America? The Frank who likes Miso Soup and kills people for fun? :D hahaha
